How Handoff handles program and athlete data.
Draft. This page describes our intended practice and has not yet been reviewed by counsel. It is not a contract. The binding terms for a program are the ones in its signed agreement.
What we hold
Two categories. Public league data ingested from third-party feeds, and program data that your staff authors inside Handoff: evaluations, assignments, decisions, and where you choose to enable it, wellness, rehab and compliance records.
Athlete data
Wellness, rehab and compliance records are treated as restricted at the store and are reachable only by roles that have been explicitly granted them. They are never used to train models that leave your program's tenancy.
What we do not do
- We do not sell program or athlete data.
- We do not pool one program's authored work into another program's store.
- We do not send restricted records to a model provider as training data.
