Charted production and projections, each labelled with which one it is.

Who it is for

Analysts, coordinators, general manager.

How this is handled today

Charts get built for one request and then rot. Nobody knows whether the picture on the screen was made this week or last spring, so it gets rebuilt, and the rebuild is subtly different from the original.

Worse, projections and charted production end up in the same picture with nothing saying which is which, and a comparison quietly spans two seasons because that is what the export happened to contain. Both failures produce a confident number that is wrong.

What changes

Production and projections in one place, with anything modelled labelled as modelled everywhere it appears, including inside a chart rather than only in a caption.

Comparisons are held to a single season by construction, so two players on a board are being measured against the same thing.

What you do here

  • Season and per game production for any player on the board
  • Projections that are labelled modeled, everywhere they appear
  • Comparisons held to a single season so they mean something

What it reads

  • Efficiency
  • Play by play
  • Personnel
